Myanmar offers plenty of unspoiled nature and wildlife.

There are possibilities for eco-tourism:

• Bird-watching (Moeywungyi (Moyingyi) Wetland Wildlife Sanctuary near Bago / Pegu, also ar Kalaw and the Inle Lake)

• Elephant camps (Sein Ye, Poe Kyar, Myaing Hay Wun)

• Botanical garden (National Botanical Gardens, Pyin Oo Lwin - Maymyo)

• National parks (Nat Ma Taung (Mt. Victoria) National Park, Popa Mountain Park)

• Wildlife Sanctuary (Shwesettaw Wildlife Sanctuary, Indawgyi Lake Wildlife Sanctuary, Alungdaw Kathapa National Park)
